Decades of Experience
I bring together a unique combination of experience: more than 40 years teaching English as a second language, a Master's degree from Georgetown University, extensive training in American pronunciation, and firsthand experience as both a language learner and performer.
Because I speak French, Spanish, and Japanese, I understand from personal experience the challenges of learning to think, speak, and perform in another language.
Actors receive the added benefit of working with a coach who understands performance from the inside. As a stage performer and longtime theater reviewer, I understand not only pronunciation, but also character, intention, emotional connection, and the demands of auditioning.
